I am absolutely delighted to share the momentous occasion of the inauguration of my book, Sadequain Gallery – An Ode to the Artist, in a prestigious ceremony held at the esteemed National School of Public Policy on 20th March 2025.People from the art, academia and civil service attended the event. It is both a great privilege and an immense honour to have been entrusted with this endeavour by the Honourable Rector, Dr Ijaz Munir. Both the establishment of Sadequain Gallery by him in January 2023 and now documentation of this book on 20th March 2025 are testament to his dedication to the art and culture.
NSPP / Book Launch Ceremony Book Launch Ceremony of Author Kiran Khurshid’s "National Management Course – A Journey Together" Held at National School of Public Policy NSPP has been rendering valuable services for national development since its inception. The author’s book is commendable. – Rector Dr. Ijaz Munir Lahore, April 29 (APP): A grand launch ceremony was held on Tuesday at the National School of Public Policy (NSPP) for the book "National Management Course – A Journey Together" by author Kiran Khurshid. The book was written at the suggestion of Rector NSPP, Dr. Ijaz Munir, with the aim of highlighting the institution's role in the training of civil service officers. This publication is part of a series of initiatives led by the Rector. The event featured speeches by Rector Dr. Ijaz Munir, former Dean of the Staff College Naeem Aslam, former Principal of the Pakistan Administrative Staff College Khalid Mahmood, and former Federal Secretary Suhail Ahmed, who all shared their views on the book. Faculty members, instructors, and officers from the Staff College also attended the ceremony.
Pakistan Administrative Staff College: Rise of a Premier Civil Service Training Institute (1960–2025)”. All praise and gratitude are due to the Almighty Allah, who graciously endowed me with the fortitude to undertake a task of considerable significance and honour — that of authoring a trilogy of publications for the esteemed National Institute of Public Policy. These include Pakistan Administrative Staff College: Rise of a Premier Civil Services Training Institution (1960–2025), following my earlier works, Sadequain – An Ode to the Artist and National Management Course: A Journey Together- all these publications completed within 15 months. I am profoundly indebted to the honourable Rector, Dr Ijaz Munir Sahib, whose enlightened and visionary stewardship afforded me the rare privilege of contributing intellectually to this noble enterprise — the chronicling of the rich legacy, institutional memory, and oft-unspoken narrative of this venerable institution. The experience of penning these volumes has granted me a deeper appreciation of the majesty and gravitas of this distinguished establishment. It has, in turn, inspired within me a renewed sense of duty — to become a more effective and purposeful instrument within the great machinery of the bureaucracy, working steadfastly to propel our beloved Pakistan toward a future marked by sustainable progress and enduring prosperity.
